Start your own Health Blog

Have you ever wanted to start your own blog? Do you even know what a blog is? Blog is short for web log and many people use them as an online diary.

Having a blog is a great way to express yourself and get some thoughts off your chest.

By having your own personal blog on you can record, for example:

  • The every-day experiences of living with a medical condition
  • The successes and failures you’ve had searching for answers to a health question
  • Progress you are making in improving your health
  • Ask a health question

The great thing about writing in a blog is that it's so easy to make updates from anywhere you have internet access plus you can easily share it with others.

Why not have a look at what others have written. Click here and see if it inspires you to join the health blogging community.

I found this article on happiness fascinating because it had some surprising results on what makes people happy, and its often not what you think. Studies show that lots of money won't buy you happiness, but it does help up to a point.

Your Oral Health

Gateway to good health

Did you know that your mouth can tell you a lot about your health? When you are having an examination, a dentist not only checks for tooth cavities and gum problems, but can also spot the first sign of infection and potentially pre-cancerous lesions.

It also works the other way around - unhealthy teeth and gums can have negative impacts on your overall health.

Do you get enough sleep?

More of us are sleeping a lot less, and much of this has to do with changes in the way we work.
